I stumbled upon a great YouTube video tonight: “5 minutes to awesomefy your life” and I wanted to make sure that I shared it! (and yes…he had me at the title lol)
In this great video the speaker talks about the importance of taking time to get our emotions in a great place before we start our day. I love this comparison of nurturing ourselves emotionally to taking a shower or eating breakfast. He also explains that we can choose from a variety of practices to help ourselves start the day in a blissful way.
I like the explanation of “mastery” on this video as well. Interesting. “….practice primarily for the sake of practice itself.” (–George Leonard) This makes complete sense to me. “Blissipline” ?! …well it sounds really cheesy but also cute lol.
